Set within a stunning 45 acre lush rainforest, the 2007 Caxton Awards Weekend at Byron at Byron Resort and Spa was a resounding success with the headliner Jeff Goodby from Goodby Silverstein & Partners proving a huge drawcard for delegates.
On the awards night itself, a total of 12 category winners were awarded from 47 finalists. The Chairman of Judges Quinlivan Black Award was given to Publicis Mojo Melbourne for their work on Tourism Victoria’s “Maze”.
A special recognition in the form of the Denis Everingham award was presented to industry legend John Bevins, honouring his outstanding contribution to newspaper creative throughout his career.
